Privacy

This page describes what happens to information when you use this site. It is short because the site does very little.

What we store

When you rate a series, we save the score along with a one-way hash derived from your IP address and browser string. The hash exists to stop the same visitor voting twice on the same series. It is not reversible and we cannot use it to identify you.

Your browser also stores two things locally: your confirmation that you are 18 or over, and the rating you gave a series, so the page reads correctly when you return. Both live on your device. Neither is sent anywhere.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising. We do not sell data. We do not operate accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and no password to lose. We do not embed third-party trackers for advertising purposes.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file, including your IP address, as part of serving it. This is standard web font delivery and is covered by Google’s own privacy terms.

Links to Candy AI

Links from this site to Candy AI carry a tracking parameter identifying us as the referrer, so that we are credited if you subscribe. It tells Candy AI that a visitor arrived from this site. It does not tell them who you are, and it does not tell us anything about what you do once you are there.

Once you are on Candy AI you are subject to Candy AI’s own privacy policy and cookie practices, which we neither control nor have visibility into.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard access logs containing IP addresses, timestamps and requested URLs, retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics. This is ordinary hosting infrastructure rather than anything specific to this site.

Your requests

Because we hold no accounts and no identifiable records, there is usually nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold something relating to you, write to bestpsubswebmaster at gmail dot com and we will look.
