This site does one thing Candy AI does not do for itself: it tells you how explicit a series is before you start it.

Why the rating exists

Candy Shorts gives you a poster, a title and a genre tag. Between the gentlest series in the catalogue and the most explicit one there is an enormous gap, and nothing on the platform indicates where a given series sits in it.

So we watch and we score, 1 to 5, and the number means the same thing on every review here. It is a judgement rather than a measurement and we say so on every page that uses it. Where a call is borderline the review says that too, and the reader rating on each page exists so you can disagree with us where anyone can see it.

What we are not

We are not Candy AI. We do not host, stream, sell or produce any video, and nothing plays on this domain. Every review points at the platform because the platform is the only place the series exist.

We are also not trying to review the whole catalogue. There are well over a hundred series and a thin page on each would help nobody. We would rather cover fewer properly.

How we make money

Affiliate commission. Some of the links to Candy AI on this site are tracked, and if you subscribe after following one, we are paid. It does not change what you pay and it has never changed a rating.

The reason to be blunt about it: a site like this is worth reading only if the scores are real. A 5/5 and a 2/5 pay us identically, and the reviews here are happy to tell you when the free episodes are the best part of a series or when fifteen episodes is too many.

Corrections

Catalogues change, episode counts grow and prices move. If something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
