How to cancel Candy AI

Cancelling is genuinely quick, which is not true of every platform in this market. The friction people run into is almost always one of two things: not knowing what the charge is called, or expecting a refund that was never on offer.

The steps

Sign in to Candy AI, open your account settings, and find the subscription or billing section. The cancel option is in there. Confirm it, and you should receive an email confirming the subscription will not renew.

Keep that email. It is the only record you will have that is not inside an account you may later delete.

What happens to your access

Nothing, until the term you paid for runs out. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the current period. If you are three weeks into a month, you have a week left, and everything including Shorts keeps working.

When the term ends you drop back to the free tier. That is not nothing: the first two episodes of every series still play, so cancelling does not lock you out of the platform, only out of episode 3 onwards.

Refunds, realistically

Cancelling and refunding are different requests. Cancelling is self-service and immediate. A refund is a decision someone makes, and it is not the default outcome.

This matters most on the annual plan, which bills the whole term up front as a single charge. Cancelling in month three stops next year renewing. Finding the charge

It appears as EverAI on card statements. People searching for Candy AI or Candy Shorts in their banking app find nothing and conclude something has gone wrong. Nothing has: that is simply the operating company name.

Cancelling versus deleting

Two separate things, in the same settings area. Cancelling ends the billing relationship and leaves the account in place, which is what you want if you might come back. Deleting removes the account entirely. Cancel first, then delete if that is what you actually want, because deleting an account with an active subscription is a worse position to sort out than the reverse.
